Joann Wanamaker

Joann (Fortuna) Wanamaker, who lived most of her life in the Springdale PA area, was born April 25, 1945 and passed away August 13, 2023. She is now enjoying eternity with her husband of 49 years, Rene, and her son, William. We know the reunions between them and also her brother, Andrew, sister-in-law, Dianna, sister, Andrea, brother-in-law, William and many friends and relatives was as joyous as we imagine! She will be missed by all who survive her. Joann is survived by her daughter, Michele (Tim); grandsons, Zachary (Samantha), Shane (Sydney) and Will; a granddaughter, Emily; great-grandchildren, Chase, Grayson, Brooks, Theo and Aelin; brothers, Joe and John Fortuna; a sister Carol Fortuna; a sister-in-law, Gert Wanamaker and many nieces and a nephew. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc., 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer, PA 16137. There will be no viewing or service.
